Comment from Joe Newell:

I think it can go either way, Sarah.  I believe the nudge to take it to ‘the booth’ was to help us track how well Compassion Sunday went, but I’m 100% certain that, if you mail it in that included envelope, it will work out just as well.

They gave me an envelope and fedex label for returning the ones given to me, and I think that’s to appeal to people who want recognition for giving out x number of packets – and that means nothing to me.

Thank you again for sponsoring a child.  I hope you love the experience like I do!

Comment from Joe Newell:

Beth, thank you for sharing your experience.  It is indeed a blessing to both families – very little in this world feels better than when you are given an opportunity to reach into another life and share the love of our Savior.

I am excited to work with Compassion and the community group leaders to spread this message.

Comment from Nick Roetzel:

I knew eventually the reason why I am fond of you would surface.  I once founf, I think, 17 references to dance in the Bible, and wrote a speech about the Bible and dance and delivered it at a square dance convention.

And if I had known about this song, I might have sung it.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

1-Oasis Covenant Fellowship

Our vision at Oasis Covenant Fellowship is to build a missional community of gospel-centered people.

Our church exists to proclaim the mercy and grace found in the good news of Jesus Christ’s death on the cross for our sins. We seek to carry out this vision in two ways:

• by actively pursuing the ongoing transformation of our own lives by the grace of God found in the gospel, and • by actively proclaiming the gospel in our community to those who do not believe.
